Charteris & Barnes is a homegrown Eastern Cape accounting firm that is almost 100 years old. We grew out of the original firm, Sampson, Ryder & Co, which was formed in Queenstown in 1928. In 1990, Charteris and Barnes opened an office in East London – today we have offices in Port Alfred, King Williams Town, Queenstown and East London each manned with over 60 professional staff. Over the last fifteen years we have grown into one of the leading independent firms in the country
