GAVIN LE ROUX (B Comm., C.T.A., CA(SA)

Gavin Le Roux has been a partner in our East London Office since 1988.

He obtained his B.Comm and CTA through the University of Port Elizabeth and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA).

After completing his articles at Deloitte Haskings and Sells in Port Elizabeth, Gavin joined Charteris and Barnes as an Audit Manager in 1985. Gavin was appointed as a partner in 1988.

Gavin has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. He has served as a consultant to numerous committees within the Dept. of Public Works and the Dept. of Water Affairs and Forestry. Gavin is vastly experienced in corporate restructuring as well as judicial management and liquidations of companies.

Gavin has served on the Public Auditors and Accountants Board (now IRBA) and as chairman of the Border-Kei Regional Association of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. His hobbies include fishing and most sports.
